Feature Length Documentary: Since the 1920s Latrobe Valley residents have proudly generated the vast majority of Victoria’s power through brown coal. However, in recent times the community has come to be hated for the seemingly ‘dirty’ service they provide. The community is in conflict, and are seeking a way out.
Inspiring and heartwarming, residents of the Latrobe Valley are seeking help from all Victorians to help urge appropriate authorities to create a transition plan aimed at bringing in new sustainable, clean and ethical businesses into the area.
Our Power is a documentary that stands to reason why Victoria needs to be the first state in Australia to be the change-makers that lead the country into a more sustainable future.
